The Superman Sound

The text originates from the prayer that mother Theresa of Calcutta wrote in hope for salvation for those kids all over the world who go with out any hope, for the whisper in the night that can not be heard except for my God, and he weeps for people such as these. But in the song, at the end the text says, Look up and see no longer me, but you… that when we help those in need, that we should give off the light of god. that wherever we go we should reflect Gods glory, that a flood of spirit and life should penetrate and possess our whole being, that it should be know that our lives should be a reflection and radiance of Gods love and grace. That a shining part of God should find every part of the world and his presence should reach every soul. But only you God should be seen in our good deeds and whatever we do in our daily lives as Christians. Amen.

Give me your eyes; definition: asking god to let you see others as he sees his children. It would be quite something to be able to see everyone that we encounter in our daily lives with such humility, that they have problems and they have hurts and they need and thirst for something so amazing, God. But thats not all. What if we as a human race could look past all selfish ambition and look to the needs of others, if we could rise up from the ashes of self loathing with a smile because we know that we arent alone in this fight of life. This song by Brandon Heath was written because there arent enough songs about needing be able to see others as God intended them to be seen, with love and forgiveness. We shouldnt be judging others for what they look like or their disposition, but to see that they are created children of God. Media these days just gives the wrong impression of we should be looking at, that we should be looking at beauty with such distane, that if you are rich then you are automatically happy. But this is never the case, the media could never be more false, in fact money usually leads to the destruction of men, especially through the love of money. People use money as a scapegoat to flee from their problems, may it be to buy sex, cars, gambling or whatever else might be out there. But one thing is for sure, that people need to stick their heads out of the holes in the ground and start seeing with eyes like Gods’.

Music is something that brings out emotion in a motion picture and evokes a response from the audience to bring them closer to where the film is taking them along the storyline. Since The Hunger Games has not been released as a film yet and the soundtrack with it there is no music to look at, except for the unofficial soundtrack composed by the amateur Javier Navarette, who took notice of what was going on within the storyline at four different sections and portrayed in his own musical way what he thought the soundtrack should sound like. Along with that soundtrack in the soundtrack from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, score written by Nicholas Hooper, which is full of rich and very moving tracks used throughout the film in an amazing way.  There are a few pieces that represent different types of emotion throughout the storyline, or would be represented. The first set of tracks is to be used to describe the deaths within each storyline, “Rue’s Lullaby” and “The Death of Sirius”. Rue’s Lullaby would be used after the death of Rue as a remembrance of her death, and how it brings out the emotion of sorrow for lost, but a cherished relationship for how long it lasted. The Death of Sirius was total spur of the moment as Bellatrix kills him and Harry watches, helpless, but it brings out emotion through music in reaction to Sirius dying and Harry becomes enrage from the loss of his Godfather. Giving the audience either a song that is soothing in the reaction to death or one that seems like the character is feeling chaos within themselves still makes the makes the audience get a better feel of what this death means to the character being portrayed. Next is “The Hunger Games Main Theme” and. “A Journey to Hogwarts” and how they portray a theme song of sorts within the movie that would be used to familiarize the audience within the movie to the main storyline. Hunger Games main theme used to introduce the Games and the gathering of the tributes to set up excitement for within the film for speculation of the story line moving. A Journey to Hogwarts is a returning track that gives the audience a sense for nostalgia within the famous story line of Harry Potter. Also, with a new version on giving an improved sense of how exciting the new story is going to be portrayed, setting up the theme for the audience. Finally is the comparison of “The Victors Theme” and “Old Friends and Goodbyes”. Both are in compliance with each other due to the fact that something has been achieved through great loss, Harry Potter is returning with the assuredness that Lord Voldemort has returned but at the cost that his god father Sirius has been killed. Now with Katniss and Peeta who would be appearing at the sound of the Victors Theme. They have survived the Games at the cost of every other tribute losing their lives but this also puts dirt into the face of the Capitol that Katniss and Peeta played the game in a way that there is hope and more than one person can survive the games. This music all creates an amazing emotional reaction from the audience as well.

It is never pleasant to find out when you completely fail at something you feel that you had so much drive towards, that something you saw hope in suddenly vanishes with a crash and burn. But in the end only those with perseverance shall prevail, those who see that they aren’t the best at what the want still continue living from day to day. The show must go on, after all it has to, the world isn’t going to wait for you to throw a pity party for yourself, so get up; you clown, you weary traveler, you failure in life, and keep yourself strong and see the finish line at the end of the race. And though that finish might still be miles away it is not impossible to reach, and it won’t come to you unless you have the will to move yourself towards it. So believe the lies of the serpent, there is a light at the end of the tunnel and your failures are only water stations along your journey to help you gather yourself and to become stronger. You cannot learn correctly without some sort of failure and in turn rising out of that failure to become a better person. But here I am, and what to do with this failure that has just reared its ugly head? The answer is to continues from this point and step over the broken part of the bridge and continue along the pathway, I’m already halfway down the path and there is no use turning around. It’s sink or swim from here and I’m going to swim among the fierce waves that are crashing down upon me. Hello world, welcome the new me.  supermansound.

The Only exception by paramore is a brilliant song describing the loss of love at an earlier time in life, but then finding the person in life who truly makes it all worth while in discovering love again. Its the person who makes your heart soar higher than a kite and race faster than a sail fish. That real good feeling that some people get when they listen to a smooth and creamy jazz piece, oh yah, you know that feeling. Be with that exception to despair, the person who climbs over all barriers to steal your heart so that it will be all theirs. I personally cannot wait until I find that person who takes the oxygen out of your lungs, who makes your heart skip a beat and who makes your knees weak. And I know that it won’t be exactly what was just described, all skin and bones and all black and white, but whatever I will be feeling won’t be describable through words alone. But with keeping a tight grip on reality of course and keeping a straight face you can only go as far as to say that you can fall into love with someone and have it last as the song says in the second verse. After all if you just fall into love you have no idea of where it will take you or how far away it might sweep you off your feet. Because the only way love can live in an exist-able way, is if you grow into it, if you can do this you will be able to gain something that story books tell of, a relationship that lives happily ever… but only if the relationship keeps a strong hold of what is really important, each other. even the strongest of relationships can break loose if eyes wonder, if flirting with others starts, if a leg out of line triggers a booby trap of disaster. but even then its not too late to work things out, love is the strongest emotion for a reason, it is eternal and it is forgiving. no wonder jesus replied to the pharasees that to love others as you do yourself love was the greatest of all commandments. For it was love shown for us on the hill of cavalry and how great that love was, I just hope that people won’t forget this precious love throughout all of their lives so they can live it to the fullest. safe and Sound 

Sorry for I mashed you, a struggle for what is actually right and the press to find truth. This thanksgiving was one that I was not suspecting at all, that one of my loved ones would leave me life on this earth not to be seen until judgment day. This song that I am listening to as I am flying over the mountains reminds me that this Thanksgiving is one to really give thanks. My thanks to a soldier who risked his life so that mine may not be imprisoned, that there are so many others that are out there right now fighting for what is right in this world, against all odds and against those who wish to short check others for their own personal gains. There should always be good in this world to counter the evil, a bright light in a dark room, a song to sing amidst all of the fear. Because without hope in this world against evil then what is the purpose of this life? To flail about like a fish out of water? But the great truth is that there is always hope to be found, the sun is always found as it rises from the darkness and shatters the dark and sleeping world. It might be hard for some people to realize that there is a hope to be found, to rescue them like superman to lois lane, that there is something to be looking forward to the next day you wake up to. This hope is that of Jesus Christ, our savior and rescuer. He was just a man like us one time, which means he made it through the evil of this world, so why can’t we just like he.  So why not just listen to a song, we aren’t always perfect and nothing in this this world is ever worth it, but we can make it after all. So just breathe in and out, gasp that fresh air and live your life to the fullest and never take it for granted, because you never know what you might get out of it. So give thanks today and rejoice for today is the day that the Lord has made, and he made it specifically so that you can live your life for him. If you feel like you don’t have anything to give thanks for, then go out and give your whole being to the world, and then you will find that which you can be thankful for. One of the past lessons a church sermon taught me was that giving thanks should be a crucial part of your life, that it has be researched and can actually prolong your life and make you healthier, imagine that. But might this have to do with music? Well not a lot actually, except for that it took the calming effect of a song that I was listening to during plane flight to help me focus on what is really all that important to me and my life, that focusing on my own goals shouldn’t be my priority, instead that I should give others a reason to give thanks, not just on thanksgiving or on Christmas, but single day of the rest of our puny lives. The only problem is the manner in which I should do this, that I guess I will figure out in due time as the Lord reveals his will to me. Until then I guess I will just have to give thanks and listen to amazing music, for what better way is there to praise the Lord? Either that or dancing, but oh well – Sounds good.

Never over played enough. I’m Yours by Jason Mraz was a song that got all of the girls hearts racing and the boys wish that they had his voice. I was among the boys but I also wished I could sing this song to a girl someday to make her heart racing. But what is this whole concept of giving your entire being for another? It could easily mean that you would sacrifice for this person at any moment, that if something were to happen, that there would be no hesitation to lie your life on the line for the other. But then again It could also be that giving yourself for the other would be being completely theirs, you would never cheat, you would never do anything to hurt them, because they were the only thing worth living for. This can be related to how Jesus Christ laid his life down for us. Not only did he lay his life down for all of us who sin daily, but also he gave his life to the cause of the only one who should truly matter in our lives, the only one who should come first on our list, his father, God. Jesus came to earth so that  people could see that God was still there, that his commandments should be followed, but to the tune of his flute, not the tune of heretics like the Pharasees who distorted the truth of God and turned it into a human game. Some times we get so side tracked in our daily lives with all of the stuff that we see in front of us, that we forget that we should be living our lives for Jesus, not just because we might feel obligated because he sacrificed himself for us, but instead because we are called to, as his followers, that if we want to live our lives for good, that we should emulate that of Jesus Christ. We as his followers should take up our crosses and live our lives, not just for Jesus, but for all in the world that do not know Him. Think of all of the people in the world that are without hope, because they don’t not know the giver of eternal hope, our lord saviour Jesus Christ. But can I say, I’m Yours.

The song Bigger by The Backstreet Boy was a major hit and an amazing comeback with their newest record, after being out of the music world for many years. I was still amazed how these guys could still after all of these years hah. These boy band heroes still have their touch, and they truly came back with an amazing song that can touch the heart once again. This song reflects are all of the things that we do that are silly or even stupid, that we should always find a way to turn it around so that forgiveness can be found. This is where the phrase give a little get a little comes in, that if we truly want forgiveness, it would help the person forgiving to have something to go off of. Especially if what we are doing wrong is being repeated over and over again. We just have to realize that we are all mortal beings that sin, and no matter how hard we try there’s nothing we can do to make it up, except for through forgiveness. Forgiveness is the grace God has given us lowly sinners so that we can find a way to make things right, that we should always find a way to get back on top, or in the positives with the people we care about. Now what about our enemies you might ask? Well same with them as well, care for them and care about what they think about you as much as you friend. Because some day the enemy could become an even closer friend from viewing how you respected them. That even though you went through disagreements that you were the “bigger” person. Which flows back to the song, that even when someone is sinking you into a pit of mud, that you should be the bigger person in the end, because with that bigger picture in your head, you can climb out of that pit to live a better life. Don’t let it in that you’re small or else you will never make it out alive. Good to go - awesome backstreet boys :)

The man in the mirror, an amazingly touching piece by michael jackson, sung to touch people hearts around the world. It creates such a great feeling of a need to restart anew in order to see all of the hurt that is being caused around you. But to think that there are people everyday that are hurting, and that we aren’t doing a single thing about it. that kids are dying on the streets and drunk men are beating their wives because they feel insecure about everything, and there isn’t anything to be done about it in this time and era. Because of everything going on right now we aren’t caring nearly enough, we aren’t putting our hand out to others and giving them a boost up to the next stair so that they can carry on in life. Sometimes just a smile can help someone get through the day, know that if someone had the guts to smile at them, then they could have the guts to live for one more day! But it does really suck to know that there are an amazing amount of people in this world that don’t have a hope for tomorrow, that they find that the only way to stop the hurt, to stop the bullying, to stop the hunger for love, it to end it all in their closet. it hits me hard, that stress, that hurt, that anger would force someone to go far enough to make them want to leave this world. But the problem is, that they don’t ever leave this world… they stay in the hearts of those who lost them. schools have united under the lost of a student who felt without a friend, that those schools found a new purpose…. to encourage people, to become unified, to not let those in dark corners should not stay in there, that people should be called to love, not discourage. So why not start with the man in the mirror, why not start with yourself and change your ways so that others can see your example of change and the domino effect will come into play. Through great analysis I shall describe these works of art. To give them the praise they deserve for being so darn beautiful.
